Flooded Riverside Homes

First-in Last-out

Pre-Emergency Planning
• Perform property assessment of floorplans, layouts, and accoutrements
• Provide current property valuations and compare to insurance limits

By properly assessing and documenting the pre-loss state, we can quickly assess the level of damage and provide the fastest estimate for recovery to minimize delay due to valuation assessment by insurance carriers.

Emergency Recovery
• Onsite support within 2 hours for initial assessment
• Mobilize personnel for rapid response within 4 hours
• Mobilize contingent workforce for large loss within 6–8 hours
• Rapid response: 3–12 personnel for 1–3 apartment recovery (pipe break)
• Contingent workforce of 25–200 personnel is sometimes necessary for large loss due to natural disaster (multiple buildings or site-level damage)

Project Management
• Large loss or multiple trades require a restoration plan with timelines and subcontractor trade coordination
• With our project managers and transparent project management portal, the customer can see by unit what, who, where, and when
• All manner of project scheduling
• Personnel onsite
• Inspections and permitting
• Schedule changes

Wood Frame Interior

Best-in-Class General Contractor

Conventional Building Structures
Property full restoration and new construction are the “bookends” of the same process.

  • GM/GS has a full complement of skilled individuals—from planning and engineering support to jobsite construction management.

  • Wood framing, metal studs, red iron welding, stucco, stone, or veneer: GM/GS has the crews and experience to build from groundbreaking to finished construction.

Innovative Construction

GM/GS founders are third-generation masons and stone builders.
With our resilient building structures that use no wood products for structural support, we provide virtually maintenance-free, durable properties designed to withstand normal perils, such as:

• Hurricane
• Flood
• Hail
• Tornado
• Fire
• Wind

Our unique building structures have been tested and proven over 35 years of construction in the Caribbean with zero structural failures.

Even our innovative structural plaster is fire-resistant and “legacy-building” compatible. It is fully tested with 25 years of history—safe, environmentally friendly, and easily repairable.

It looks and feels like interior drywall or plaster, but it is not organic, and therefore not prone to rot or water deterioration like most wood products.

House Construction Site

Conventional Building Structures

New home construction is highly personal and tailored to each client and location. Having a structural engineer in-house provides significant advantages when building or rebuilding a home.

GM/GS has a full complement of skilled individuals—from planning and engineering support to jobsite construction management.

Home elevation above **BFE (Base Flood Elevation)** presents unique challenges, and GM/GS has the means, methods, and expertise to rebuild your home safely and efficiently.

### **Innovative Construction**

Building a home with our resilient home system means greater resistance to natural disasters such as:

• **Hurricane**
• **Flood**
• **Hail**
• **Tornado**
• **Fire**
• **Wind**

You can still achieve your preferred architectural style—whether Victorian, adobe courtyard, or anything in between—while benefiting from a structure built **faster and stronger** than conventional buildings.

With our in-house structural engineer, we can stamp and obtain building permit approvals more quickly than a typical general contractor.

Our structural plaster is fully tested with 25 years of proven performance—safe, environmentally friendly, and easily repairable. It looks and feels like interior drywall or plaster but is **not organic**, making it resistant to rot and water deterioration.
